Itsenäisyysjuhlat – Independence Day Party

Saturday, December 6th, 2008 starting at 5:00 p.m.

 

 

Welcome everyone to celebrate Finland’s 91st Independence Day on Saturday,

December 6th. The party will be held at the Founders Hall of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Church in Raleigh, starting at 5 pm with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and coffee. 

 

This year TFA will provide the all the food items for the dinner menu, so all you have to do is show up and have fun! As always, a helping hand in the kitchen would be greatly appreciated so that everybody can enjoy the party.

Cocktail hour with glögi: 5-6 pm

Dinner and coffee: 6-8 pm

Clean up: 8-9.30 pm

 

Tickets: $10/adult, $5/child (5-12 years), children younger than 5 years free. Tickets can be purchased at the door from Timo Palo.

Since the party will not be a potluck this year, the organizers would really appreciate it if everybody could let them know by November 21st how many people will attend so that they can coordinate the tables and food accordingly. Also, please tell Anne or Riitta if you can help with serving the food or cleaning up after the party.
